PHILES AND WHAT THEY MEAN?

I know it's not something very important but it is something fun to know. So the first question comes to mind is what is "phile" it is a Greek word "phileein" meaning to love, a word ending with this word indicates great fondness or preference for something. Some of them are:

BIBLIOPHILE: A person who collects or has great love of books.

CYNOPHILE: A person who loves cannines; a dog lover.

cynophile

NEPHOPHILE: A person who loves clouds; obsession or    fondness of clouds.




OPACAROPHILE: A person who enjoys/loves sunset.

PHOTOPHILE: A person who loves light.

photophile

PLUVIOPHILE: A person who loves rain; someone who finds joy and peace of mind during rainy days.


pluviophile

RETROPHILE: A person who loves artifacts and aesthetics from the past.


retrophile




STIGMATOPHILE: A person who is obsessed  with tattoos, piercings and sacrification.

XENOPHILE: A person who has love of foreign people and cultures.
